What We're Doing

Over the course of a few weeks, we'll be talking about the different aspects of creating a relationship with your goals or dreams.Your relationship with your goals matters because it's the thing that should be keeping you going when the going gets hard.How many things have you run away from because it got too hard or you thought you couldn't get there? How many times did you run into a block that you couldn't find your way around? Why does that happen?It's about our focus. It's about what we're choosing to focus on and connect at any given time. It's important that we focus in a way that allows us to keep going. It's important that we have a deep enough connection with what we want, that it makes the struggle worthwhile.You only give up on things that don't matter. You only give up on things you think you need to be doing. You don't give up on the things you really want to do. Those distinctions matter because they determine how you feel and where your focus goes when the problems show up.The problems are always going to be there. Life is always going to throw problems in your path. If you're looking for a clear shot, you're probably not going to find it. You have to decide you're willing to deal with the struggle too because that's the only way to get what you truly want.

It doesn't look right. It's not working out the way I wanted it to. I can't solve this problem so I can't move forward. I'm stuck. I don't have a way around the problem.We get so attached to the way things should be and how we think they should look, we can't allow ourselves to just go on the journey. But what if we could? What if there was a way to shift our focus so that we could move forward anyway? Let's talk about it.

Focus is a conscious choice. It's not a default that you just have to put up with. You can have control over your focus if you decide to take it.When you're going after a big goal or dream, your focus matters even more. Your mind will naturally put attention on the problems and make those the focus. If you do this and you don't do anything about it, you will run away from the goal. The mind will tell you that you can't do it.Understanding where to focus and how is an important part of going after big goals and dreams, so let's talk about it.

04The Fear Of ItSaturday, June 10th at 2 P.M. Central Time

Fear shows up all over the place. Anytime we do something that is unknown or that the mind isn't familiar with, the fear will be there. That is how the mind operates because it is designed to protect you. Often, we allow the mind to protect us from our own dreams. Let's talk about why that happens.

  • There are many fears including the fear of failure, success, change, other people's opinions and not being good enough. We'll talk about each of these a little bit.

  • How to shift your focus away from the fear.

  • How to sit in the fear and do the thing anyway.

  • Why using your connection to the bigger goal as a way to manage the fear is important.

  • How to get past the hurdle of fear.


Healthy Relationship GoalsSaturday June 17th at 2 P.M. Central Time

Pain creates pain. The idea is that we want to create a healthy relationship with our goals so that when we finally do get what we want we're happy with it. If there is pain in the journey, you won't like the outcome either. Getting okay with the journey is part of the process. So let's talk about what it looks like when it's healthy.

  • How to manage the journey.

  • Accepting that the journey gives you the tools to manage the outcome. If you argue with the journey you won't pick up the tools that will allow you to be happy with the outcome.

  • Using the larger outcome as an anchor point and a motivation strategy.

  • Understanding the deeper connection to the goal or dream.

  • Where do I view the live sessions?
    The live sessions will be held in a private Facebook group. You will need to be friends with me temporarily on Facebook in order for me to add you to the group.

  • Will the sessions be recorded?
    Yes. The sessions are recorded and posted in the Facebook group. They will remain available indefinitely.

  • Can I get a refund?
    Yes refunds are available. Please reach out to me directly to discuss your refund.

  • How come there is no session on May 20nd?
    May 22nd is a holiday in Canada. It is Victoria Day. I will be taking the long weekend off.

  • How does the payment plan work?
    Your first payment of $111 CAD is due immediately. You will be added to the Facebook group once I receive that payment. If I do not receive the second payment 30 days later, you will be removed from the Facebook group until the payment is received or we have had a conversation to work something out. If you are struggling please reach out to me. I am willing to work with you and help you. I get that life happens sometimes and if you are honest and upfront with me I can and will work with you.

  • I can't afford it. Can I still join you?
    Yes. I don't want money to stop you from being able to achieve your dreams. Please out to me to discuss either a free spot or a pay what you can spot. Those are available to those who need them.
